Drs. Nancy Barnett and Kristina Jackson received a grant titled "Ecological assessment of social network contacts in drinking contexts: Peer proximity detection using wearable sensors." This grant will develop and evaluate the technology for using Bluetooth sensors and Smartphones to detect high-risk situations in which peers are drinking alcohol together.
