New England Region Opioid Response Network's (ORN) 3-day national virtual convening, Medications for Opioid Use Disorder: Moving to Implementation

Associate Professor, Rosemarie Martin, PhD, and Tonya Tavares, MS, CCRP, led the New England Region Opioid Response Network's (ORN) 3-day national virtual convening, Medications for Opioid Use Disorder: Moving to Implementation, from January 26-28, 2021, with over 300 registered corrections professionals from 42 states. The event was an interactive meeting focusing on practical steps to implement medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) programs.

Nationally, the ORN has received requests and provided both targeted individual level and national level technical assistance around effective MOUD implementation in correctional facilities. The most recent virtual convening built upon the in-person event held last January 28-30, 2020, Medications for Opioid Use Disorders in Correctional Settings: Shifting the Paradigm: Creating a Balanced Correctional and Rehabilitative Approach.

Information and resources from the 2021 Conference will be made available soon on the Opioid Response Network Website.
