Brown CAAS Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Jaquelina Contrera Avila, recently received a travel award to present her work with Drs. Jasjit Ahluwalia and Alexander Sokolovsky on "The effect of race/ethnicity and socioeconomic adversities on smoking abstinence among U.S. adult smokers" at the 2021 Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (SNRT) annual conference.

Dr. Avila presented at the SRNT 2021 Conference on Friday, February 26th at 1:30 PM during the, "Health Disparities & Health Equity Stage" podium session 27.
