Grace Kim, a Brown University undergraduate student, finished her SPRINT/UTRA summer internship with Dr. Sarah Helseth by presenting a virtual poster at the 2021 Summer Research Symposium. Her work described caregivers perceptions of mobile health (mHealth) apps to reduce cannabis use among justice-involved youth.

Overall, caregivers viewed mHealth apps positively and thought they could help their justice-involved teens make a change in their cannabis use. Several concerns were also reported, including safeguarding teens' privacy, limiting involvement of court staff, and preventing unmonitored interactions with risky peers.
