Dr. Patricia Cioe and Bianca Camacho, student Research Assistant and Brown University graduate '21, presented a paper presentation at the Annual Association of Nurses in AIDS Care on November 18, 2022 in Tampa FL. Their presentation was titled, “She just gave me that ‘you’re not alone’ kind of feeling”:  A qualitative study of peer navigation for smoking cessation in people with HIV who smoke cigarettes," described the qualitative findings from their recent randomized clinical trial that incorporated a peer navigator into a smoking cessation intervention for people with HIV who smoke.
