Sara Becker was a plenary speaker on March 6th at the Rosecrance Health Network Inaugural Adolescent Behavioral Health Symposium. She shared the results of her NIDA-funded study testing a technology-assisted parenting intervention for adolescents in residential substance use treatment. Results indicated that the intervention was acceptable, feasible, and effective for parents of teens in short-term residential treatment.
Drs. Patricia Cioe and Suzanne Colby were invited to present a talk entitled, Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS): A Brief Review of Completed Research Studies, to the Community Advisory Board of the Brown School of Public Health. The meeting was held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the American Lung Association in Providence RI.

Dr. Jacob van den Berg gave an oral presentation on January 9, 2020 entitled: "Social media use and prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections among at-risk college students in the United States" at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences in Maui, Hawaii.
