InfoEd Grants module planning and configuration is currently underway.  RAIS, in conjunction with CIS and InfoEd, is now configuring the Pre-award Proposal Development (PD) module in Grants.  

Representatives from the departments and central offices across Brown’s research administration community are also continuing their collaborative work with the Grants Working Group (GWG) advisory team.  This working group continues to explore the streamlining of sponsored projects’ processes as we prepare to transition Grants from Coeus to InfoEd.

Modules under development for Grants include:

• Proposal Development (PD) - allows for proposal creation, budget development, and system-to-system (S2S) proposal submission directly to Grants.gov.

• Proposal Tracking (PT) - Tracks the lifecycle of a submitted proposal, tracks negotiations, JIT requests, funded proposals, and subsequent proposal submissions.

• Award Tracking (AT) - Tracks the lifecycle of an award from award set-up to close-out.
