IBM-Brown Supercomputer

The IBM-Brown Supercomputer was deployed to enhance research and collaboration and capitalize on regional interdisciplinary work to accelerate discovery and innovation in grand challenge areas that face our nation. High Performance Computing is the backbone for critical and complex research activities, and it services and opens up new pursuits for all disciplinary needs. This supercomputer (Big Rhody) is hosted in Brown Center for Computation and Visualization and was designed as a shared computational infrastructure to support the needs of regional research community.
