The Institute for Molecular and Nanoscale Innovation (IMNI) administers a state-of-the-art equipment infrastructure, with three Core Research Facilities: Electron Microscopy Facility (EMF), Nanofabrication Central Facility (NCF), and NanoTools Facility (NTF).
The IMNI Core Research Facilities are essential to our mission to foster interdisciplinary, multi-investigator research and education. These research laboratories provide access to advanced instrumentation and specialized services, as well as, involvement in developing new technologies and new applications of existing techniques. This infrastructure enables research topics of intellectual and technological importance and allows researchers to engage in research matters of a broad scope and complexity.
The IMNI Core Research Facilities are available to researchers from all Brown University departments, as well as, external researchers from local industry and academic institutions.
