Dr. García graduated as a pharmacist during her undergraduate degree and then completed her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences as postgraduate training. Her thesis was carried out in the Group of Pharmaceutical Technology, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences , Faculty of Chemical Sciences (FCQ), National University of Cordoba (UNC). During her PhD training, Dr. Garcia worked on the development and characterization of drug delivery systems based on polymers. Dr. García also has been Assistant Professor at the FCQ-UNC since 2012 and, currently, she is finishing her postdoctoral research with a CONICET scholarship. Her research interests are related to the development of novel modified drug delivery systems with emphasis in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and new engineered nanomaterials as carrier of drugs.
