Congratulations to the entire QMCPACK team for having its review "QMCPACK: Advances in the development, efficiency, and application of auxiliary field and real-space variational and diffusion Quantum Monte Carlo" accepted to and being named as an Editor's Pick by the Journal of Chemical Physics. This paper outlines a number of recent, exciting QMCPACK methodological developments and applications to molecular and solid-state systems. A special thanks goes to Prof. Ken Jordan, graduate student Shiv Upadhyay, and Dr. Paul Kent for helping to put the QMC for correlation-bound anions section together with me.
