Congratulations to Gabriel (and team) for having his paper entitled "Covalent Docking and Molecular Dynamics Simulations Reveal the Specificity-Shifting Mutations Ala237Arg and Ala237Lys in TEM Beta-Lactamase" to PLOS Computational Biology! In this work, Gabriel looks at how certain beta-lactamase mutants can paradoxically increase beta-lactamase's fitness to certain classes of antiobiotics. Excellent effort using computation to peer through the experimental data (and rerunning the experiments yourself)!
