Assistant Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences

Dr. Denlinger-Apte is a PhD graduate from the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the Brown University School of Public Health. She currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Health Policy at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007, and her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Her research focuses on tobacco product regulation as a means of reducing the public health burden of smoking, especially among vulnerable populations. She enjoys traveling, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.
