Susan receives Simper-Ronan Graduate Award in Cancer Research

Susan Leggett was recognized with the 2016 Simper-Ronan Graduate Award in Cancer Research, given annually to a current Pathobiology graduate student whose dedication to research and accomplishments honors the memory of Rhonda Simper-Ronan, PhD (class of 2007).

The award is presented at the Pathobiology Graduate Program’s Annual Retreat to the student: 1. whose research is relevant to cancer, 2. who contributes to the graduate program, and 3. whose inspirational accomplishments have distinguished and set them apart from their peers.

Tom awarded GAANN Fellowship for 2016-2017

Tom Valentin was awarded a one-year GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) fellowship from the U.S. Department of Education for "Interdisciplinary Training in Applications and Implications of Nanotechnology."
