A special screening of the award-winning documentary: "To a More Perfect Union: United States v. Windsor" is coming to campus. Directed by Brown alum Donna Zaccaro ’83, P’19, the film explores the legal and personal stories of two unlikely heroes, Edie Windsor and her attorney Roberta Kaplan, as they fought for the Supreme Court's landmark decision against The Defense of Marriage Act. Zaccaro examines the politics of marriage benefits, and the personal journey of those who fought to equalize them. Students and alumna/i are encouraged to join in conversation with Zaccaro after the screening.
