Agnes Kane (Training Core Leader and Project 2 PI) and Cynthia Browning (Postdoctoral Trainee) conducted a two-part Grantsmanship Workshop and Mock Study Session for SRP and T32 trainees.

In this program, trainees re-created the steps involved in responding to a federal agency request for application and in preparing a grant application. They then participated in a mock study session to review a submitted grant application to reach a consensus about the overall strengths and weaknesses and overall score for the application. The trainees' reviews were compared with the actual peer review comments and revision and resubmission strategies were discussed.
