Mosquito Bite Prevention Through Graphene Barrier Layers article adapted for kids

February 11, 2020

The 2019 PNAS article Mosquito bite prevention through graphene barrier layers (authors include Center Director and Project 4 Leader Robert Hurt and trainees Cintia Castilho and Muchun Liu) has been adapted for a younger audience. The non-profit organization Science Journal for Kids has worked with the authors to develop a version of the paper that is scientifically accurate, but also visually appealing and accessible in language to school kids.  They have also developed a teacher's key and linked to related videos.

The article, Can graphene in your clothing stop mosquito bites?, is available open access.
