Christina Smith, Assistant Director for Undergraduate Instructional Development, will be teaching a course on the "Theory and Teaching of Problem Solving" for the Brown Learning Collaborative. She will also work with departments on undergraduate TA training and ongoing professional development.

Previously, Christina was a Learning Assistant Instructor for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University, where she also recently successfully defended her dissertation, titled, "Graduate Teaching Assistants in a Studio Learning Environment: Practices, Epistemologies, and Pedagogical Development." She completes her PhD in Chemical Engineering and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
