Academic Career Roundtable Series: Life as a Faculty Member

Join us at the Sheridan Center to hear guest faculty from various institutions share their experiences as a faculty member, and their career paths that led to their academic positions. Robert Warrior is a Professor of American Indian Studies, English & History at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he is Director of American Indian Studies. He is author or co-author of four books about American Indian literature, intellectual traditions and social movements. In addition he teaches courses in history, theory and comparative indigenity, and his academic and journalistic writing has appeared in a wide variety of publications. He holds a Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary, M.A. from Yale University and B.A. from Pepperdine University. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to reserve a place at this session.
