Getting Started with Digital Humanities

Sheridan Center for Teaching & Learning

What are the digital humanities? How do they offer new ways to think about teaching and research across humanities disciplines? Led by John Melson (Sheridan Center), this session will explore these questions and introduce participants to this emerging field. We’ll look at examples of current digital humanities projects, discuss how digital humanities approaches can be used productively in classes and research, and share essential resources. Bring a brown-bag lunch. RSVP to reserve a place.
