The “How I Grade” Series spotlights Brown faculty who are using innovative approaches to assessing and giving feedback on student learning. This session features mastery learning and portfolio-based approaches, as well as a transparent approach to clarifying S and S* grades. Panelists include Ron Aubert (CSREA and Health Services, Policy, and Practice, SPH), Emily Hipchen (Nonfiction Writing, Department of English), and Jordan Kostiuk (Math).
