Leveraging Your Teaching Experience on the Job Market

, 720

Want to learn more about how to present and talk about your teaching for job applications or graduate school? This workshop is for undergraduate students who are in any peer teaching capacity on campus (e.g. UTAs, tutors, peer mentors, etc.). As peer educators, you acquire a wide variety of skills that employers and graduate schools are looking for. The first hour of the workshop we will discuss and practice how to leverage your experiences and skills as teachers for your future career goals. This will be followed by an hour of consultations with Amy Tarbox from the CareerLab. Feel free to bring your resume or other documents. Space is limited, registration required before April 4. Lunch will be served.
