Some academic interviews now require a teaching presentation or demonstration as an indicator of instructional effectiveness. In this interactive session, we will discuss the range of formats a teaching demonstration can take, as well as questions to ask your interviewers beforehand. Workshop activities will help participants to construct a plan for a teaching demonstration, which can be tailored to different institutional and disciplinary settings.
