This fall, the Writing Center is implementing a new Dissertation Workshop Series for graduate students. The first workshop offered in the series will be a panel featuring representatives from the Graduate School, Writing Center, English Language Learning, the Library, and the Ombuds Office. Panelists will address key questions graduate students have about the process of dissertation writing: essential deadlines and dates, how to start writing and researching, resources on campus to support their success, as well as tips for the relational aspects of dissertation writing (self-care, communicating with advisors and committee members, etc.).
