Responding to Student Writing: Dialogic Methods to Engage and Authorize Student Writers

Feeling like the time and care you put into providing feedback on student writing is a bit of a dead end conversation?

Join the Associate Director of the Writing Center on Tuesday, March 6th from 3:00-4:00pm in room 720 in the Sciences Library to learn about response strategies that frame feedback as an ongoing dialogue between writer and reader. Participants will leave the workshop with tools such as reflective cover letters, annotated draft assignments, and one-on-one or small group conference frameworks that they can repurpose for use their own classroom contexts to make writing response an interactive exchange.
