Scaffolding Assignments to Improve Student Learning

In this workshop, facilitated by Sheridan Associate Director Jessica Metzler, participants will explore strategies for designing assignments that improve student learning by breaking down complex tasks into smaller components, allowing instructors to monitor and offer feedback on student progress. Participants will also consider ways to craft assignments to help students meet increasingly sophisticated course goals and develop critical thinking skills while encouraging academic integrity. Lunch will be available at 11:45 am. Registration required.
