Workshop on Quantitative Text Analysis for the Humanities and Social Sciences

This two-day Workshop on Quantitative Text Analysis for the Humanities and Social Sciences is for students and scholars interested in digital humanities and empirical quantitative approaches to text.
The topics include:
- principles of text analysis that allow extraction of data from large amounts of texts with the help of technology
- case study presentations
- panel discussions where you can ask questions and brainstorm how you could apply these methods
- hands-on activities using texts in English
The workshop will be of interest to humanists and social scientists working in English and Czech/Slavic languages. No prior experience with technology is necessary. Bring your intellectual curiosity!
