Aaron is a sixth-year PhD Candidate in the Department of Economics. He is a development and urban economist, and his research studies urban renewal and education in the developing world. Aaron is a dual-Canadian-British citizen from Vancouver, completing his bachelor's degree at Western University, Canada before moving on to his Masters Degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since beginning his PhD in 2015, both New England and Brown University have increasingly become his home. Aaron has had the opportunity to teach many courses during his time at Brown, including core economics courses and his specialty fields, as well as serve as a teaching assistant for various courses within the department. He first got involved with the Sheridan Center in 2018, completing all of their certificate programs, and has found it to be an incredible resource for growing his teaching. He is excited to be a Head Teaching Consultant this year and is looking forward to working with the Sheridan Center on furthering resources for inclusive teaching at Brown.
