Jim earned a BA in Communication and English from Roberts Wesleyan College. After short stints at the George Eastman House Museum and Xerox, he returned to academia by taking a position in the Online Learning department at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He subsequently earned his MS in Information Technology from RIT, concentrating in Usability Engineering and Instructional Technology.
