Germinoma

 

 

The tumor cells stain for placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP).  Note that the lymphocytes are not staining.  Germinomas

 contain two cell populations:  the actual PLAP-positive tumor cells and a large number of reactive lymphocytes.
