Hidradenoma papilliferum

This uncommon benign adnexal tumor is found most often in the vulvar and anal areas. It is usually very small and

asymptomatic.  Papillary projections extending from the wall of a cyst into the center are lined by columnar apocrine-type

secretory epithelium. The lesion is most frequent in women but can occur in either gender; wherever there are sweat glands.
