Driving Directions & Parking

From the North or South on Interstate 95:

Take Exit 22 to Downtown Providence. Continue straight on Memorial Boulevard, turn left onto College Street at the fourth set of traffic lights. Halfway up the hill, turn right onto Benefit Street. Take your first left on George Street.

From the East on Interstate 195:

Take Exit 2 to South Main Street and continue for half a mile until the first set of traffic lights. Turn right onto College Street and then right onto Benefit Street. Take your first left on George Street.

From the Northwest:

Follow Route 146 to I-95 South then follow directions above (from north and south).

Parking

Visitors may find parking on the streets in and around campus, or in the Visitors Parking lot on Brook St. behind Minden Hall—at the intersection of Brook St. and Waterman St. View map.

Visitor Parking Lot Rates

  • Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm $3.00/hour
  • All Day Rate until 6pm (M-F) $15.00
  • Weekdays after 6pm, weekends, holidays $1.50/hour

Note to departments: The pay stations do not allow for department-validated rates. The rate is the same for all visitors.

Visitor Parking Pass:

Visitor Parking Passes may be purchased by departments for parking in Lot 57. The Pass Rate is $10 / day. To purchase passes, please complete the visitor parking pass request and forward to the Transportation Office via:
