Double-click on the installer and click Run. Follow the on-screen instructions (selecting a typical install) to complete the installation. Double-click on install_idfinder62.dmg to unpack the installer. Click on IdentityFinder.pkg from within the disk image. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Once installed, you'll need to configure Identity Finder to scan your computer. Launch Identity Finder from your Applications menu. Create a password and confirm as requested. Click OK. At the Identity Finder Search Setup dialog, check any checkboxes that you want to include as search criteria for a typical scan of data on your computer. This establishes your default search, which you can adjust later if desired. Then click the Cancel buttonIdentity Finder The main Identity Finder window will appear. Select Files in the main Identity Finder window and click on "Enable file search." Identity Finder Now click on Preferences (to the right of Files). A Preferences dialog will appear. Select Folders in the Profile dialog and a Folders dialog wil appear. Click on "..." to the right of the empty folder field.Identity Finder In the Custom folders dialog, select the drive to be scanned (generall your computer's primary hard drive).
