4 December 2008

Since I was out of commission for Thanksgiving Break, I missed a few project meetings and have not been able to do any walkthroughs of Rhode Island Hall. However, today I was able to drop by, and Justin Deveau was kind enough to get me caught up on what I have missed.

The elevator shaft is looking great, and the workers have made amazing progress on it. Unfortunately, the webcam is located in the western section of the building and is not aimed at the area where the elevator shaft is being constructed. I did take a few pictures of it today though, and I will post those shortly.

Tomorrow, Chris Witmore and I will walk through the building and discuss more the methods of this project.

I think there is a problem with the webcam because it has been showing the same image for a week. At first I thought that all the construction workers had gotten a break for Thanksgiving, but dropping by the building today, I can see that that is definitely not the case. Hopefully, this problem will get resolved!

I have begun working on the editing of some of the videos I've shot throughout the semester. It's taking much longer than expected, but I have uploaded a video of a walkthrough that took place at the end of October. I also have a video from way back in September that I shot on a friend's camera, so I will have to upload that too. In addition, I am working on the video of the procession a couple of weeks ago. I also have many pictures I have taken with my camera that I need to upload on to the photo page. I will have all of this done, hopefully, before the end of the semester!
