REQUIREMENTS AND GRADING
Your final grade will be based on your performances in the following:
• 10% First short writing assignment (movie review) — due Oct.
• 15% Second short writing assignment (novel review) — due Nov. 11
• 30% Term project paper (click here Term project paper for details) — due Dec. 9
• 15% Midterm exam — on October 21
• 20% Final exam (cumulative) — 2-4 p.m., Friday 18 December
• 10% Participation, attendance, pop quizzes
