The class split time this day touring the John Brown House (thanks to Dan Santos) and excavating. Work continued on the two open shovel test pits, and several students began to set up a 1m x 1m unit on the northside of the lawn with Krysta. The day also saw several visitors: Artemis Joukowsky and his granddaughter; two graduate students from the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology; and two members of the Scholarly Technology Group (STG).
