All of the authors we read for this week discuss how integrated interpretation and 'field' practices should be with each other. In the context of disciplinary development discussed by Lucas and of 'fragmentation' and 'hierarchy' discussed by Jones, outline what YOU think our purposes are at the John Brown House and how you think our methods help of hinder us from achieving our goals. How might we appropriately integrate interpretation and excavation better, or what do we already do that you find particularly successful?
