Welcome! This page is meant to guide you through the JohnBrown House Exhibit and to provide you with text information of the artifactsdisplayed. This exhibit is part of the “Rhode Island Archaeology” display that is locatedin the basement of Rhode Island Hall (Joukowsky Institute) between the RhodeIsland Hall and Greene Farm Archaeology exhibits. The John Brown House exhibitis provided by the 2011 class of Archaeology of College Hill. This was anintroductory course of the practice and process of archaeological fieldwork,where Brown students took this hands-on course and did actual excavation at JohnBrown House property. This exhibit is meant to show the class's findings and progressionsthrough their hard work within the semester at the site.
