Micro-Project 1: Photography Flash Galleries
This project uses Flash technology to produce two online image galleries of my photography.

Micro-Project 2: Peripatetic Video
In collaboration with Christopher Witmore, this project is to produce a peripatetic video exploring the site specific sculture by Patrick Dougherty currently at Brown University (see link). As peripatetic video, this short film fit for an ipod screen seeks to delve into the notions of place and experience in relation to new media technologies.

Final Project: Educational Video for The Black Sea Shipwrecks Dig 2007 Season
The Black Sea Shipwrecks Research Project is working towards establishing a strong, international fieldschool in Crimea, Ukraine. Ben Goetsch has taken on the role of liason between the fieldschool and Brown University. This educational video is for the purpose of recruiting students and spreading knowledge about this interesting project.

Bio

Megan Goetsch was born in the eighties in New Haven, Connecticut. She has been fascinated by media, images, and fashion all her life. Currently at home in Providence, Rhode Island - Megan's dreams have come true as she studies not just film production and photography, but modern, culture, and media at Brown University. Since August of 2006, Megan has been extensively studying the place of video and film within Archaeology with her brother Ben Goetsch and professor Christopher Witmore. She looks forward to a future involving some form of production, whether it be of films or fashion theory.
