Carcinosarcoma

Also known as malignant mixed müllerian tumor (MMMT), this tumor is composed of both malignant epithelial and malignant stromal cells. It can arise in the ovary, fallopian tubes, or peritoneum also. It sometimes contains heterologous mesodermal elements such as cartilage or striated muscle.
