I applied to residencies across the country, but after my interview at Kent I knew I had found the right place for me. In addition to the strong emphasis on teaching at Kent, the residents were genuinely happy and friendly, and I felt it was the type of environment that I could flourish in. Undergraduate School: Boston University, Psychology Major, Biology Minor
Graduate School: Boston University School of Medicine, Masters of Medical Sciences

Why Kent Hospital?
"I chose Kent Hospital because it offers outstanding and advanced medical training while also fostering a supportive and motivating family environment. I spent the bulk of my 3rd year rotations at Kent Hospital, during which time I got to know the teaching faculty, residents, and graduate medical education staff very well. The amount of pathology I was exposed to in my first year of rotations paralleled that I was exposed to at large medical centers. The attendings are not only fantastic teachers, but they also serve as wonderful mentors for the residents and medical students.

The residency program at Kent is unique for its commitment to training excellence, the exposure to extremely diverse pathology given the size of the hospital, and the fact that everyone associated with the program is passionate about medicine and dedicated to making graduate medical education all that it can be. I am proud to now call myself a Kent resident and am thrilled to join the team that helped shaped me into the physician I am today.

Hobbies & Interest: “In my spare time, I love to explore the outdoors, cook (and eat!) delicious food, travel stateside and abroad, and spend time with my fiancé, family and friends. I enjoy hiking, biking, running and playing tennis. Rhode Island (and Kent) offers all that I wanted from my residency location – easy access to the outdoors and the ocean, proximity to loved ones in Boston, and the perfect mix of suburban and city life.
