Often, these decisions are the most difficult physicians will face throughout their careers. Students taking this course will learn the general principles of medical ethics and practice applying them in a case-based manner. Each session will each focus on a topic in medical ethics, and class time will be spent discussing ethical considerations pertaining to specific cases within these topics. This course will also highlight content found in the USMLE STEP 1 exam.
