Update: We have filled our open PGY-2 position for the 2022-23 academic year. We currently do not anticipate having an open PGY-2 position for the 2023-24 academic year but will post all updates on this page.
We recruit for one PGY-2 position every year in the fall with a start date of July 1 of the following academic year. The job posting can be found on the APA website and is typically posted every September. In order to be eligible for a PGY-2 position an applicant must:
- Have successfully completed a PGY-1 year in a residency program or is currently a resident in good standing in a residency program.
- Must submit their previous ERAS application (Photo, Application, Personal Statement, and up-to-date CV), official medical school transcript, Dean's Letter, USMLE Transcript, and two letters of recommendation (one from your current or previous Program Director).
- For DO applicants, we will accept COMLEX 1-3 in lieu of USMLE.
- We do not accept applications via ERAS for PGY-2 positions.
