Each year, the Brown University Library awards $750 each to two Brown undergraduates whose research demonstrates exceptional sophistication and originality. Research projects must make creative and extensive use of the Brown University Library's collections including, but not limited to, print resources, databases, primary resources, and materials in all media.

Applicants for the Library Undergraduate Research Award must be current full-time students working toward a Brown University undergraduate degree. Award recipients give short presentations on their research projects, which will also be showcased on the Brown University Library web site and added to the Brown Archives.
