The Brown University Barus & Holley building is located at 182 Hope Street, Providence, RI, between Waterman Street and George Street with entrances on all sides. The lobby is located in the southwest corner of the main floor. Room 190 is adjacent to the lobby just to the northeast.
Parking
A self-service parking lot is available off Brook Street on northwest side of the Barus and Holley Building indicated with a P on the map.
In Google Maps the parking lot destination is known as Providence, RI 02906 (44).
The real entrance is from Brook Street (Google seems to think there is a second entrace off Watermand Street).
The parking machine accepts credit cards and the fee is approximately $1.50/hr. Drive in, park, pay the machine (at the lot entrance) then place the printed slip as directed.
Traveling by Car

1. Take I-95 following signs for Providence.
2. Take the US-6 W/RI-10 W exit toward Downtown/Hartford, Connecticut -- 0.2 mi
3. Take exit 22A to merge onto Memorial Blvd toward Downtown -- 0.5 mi
4. Turn left at Washington St -- 449 ft
5. Continue onto Waterman St -- 0.5 mi
6. Turn right at Brook St -- 138 ft
7. Turn left into Parking Lot 44 -- 121 ft
Traveling by Train
Providence is served by Amtrak. The train station is a short cab ride to the University.
Traveling by Bus
Providence is served by Greyhound and Bonanza bus lines. Their Providence terminals are a short cab ride to the University.
