Hey! I am a Computational Biology concentrator from the class of 2010. I am interested in the origins of ideas and the stumbling steps that transform them into a "good" that benefits society in a lasting way. As a Computational Biologist, my work involves documenting the genetic inheritance of information and the quirks in processes such as protein folding that allow life to take on all sorts of forms. However, my interest extends to the engineering design tradeoffs of things like gadgets, musical synths, food production, and the like. After all, biology and artificial are not that different - good ideas are self-replicating, convenient, balanced in terms of upkeep, and attractive in design.
