Can reenacting Vietnam-era protests help us rethink Iraq?

Because this is a personal archive, a reflection on my interactions with the Phoenix this past fall, I can safely admit that I never read this cover story. I was particularly busy with other school work during mid-October, and didn't have time to go to Blue State Coffee to pick up this issue. I was also not particularly drawn to the cartoon cover image. The version of the article reproduced on the Phoenix website does not show the cartoon image. Instead it is headed by a photograph taken at a recent anti-war protests organized by Mark Tribe of the Modern Culture & Media department at Brown University. Note that this cover story combines local interest with national news by detailing a Brown University professor's attempts to develop a Vietnam-esque approach to Iraq War protests.
