The large majority of the total Phoenix readership lies within Providence County (38,000 readers). In fact, readership in Providence County is almost five times that of readership in neighboring Washington county (8,000 readers). Outside of Providence, readership is more or less evenly distributed between Kent and Washington counties in Rhode Island, and Worcester & Norfolk and Bristol Counties in Massachusetts.
