Not often. There are different apartments.

Practical "Ican hear it." but they do have doorbells to solve the question of specific apartments.

No idea (resident)

Yes, I think so.
12. How do relate to your door knocker? Is it something you rarely think about, or is a sort of face for you home to the rest of the world?
I usually don't think about it at all until somebody knocks.
