Akram: The Kaaba is a large cube shaped building located in Majid Al-Haram in Mecca. In pre-Islam society, the building housed the idols of the people of Arabia who paid for that service, allowing the citizens of Mecca to prosper. The Kaaba now serves as the holiest site in Islam, and is the focal point around which the Hajj is undertaken. Because so many Muslims travel to this site at any given time, many ideas are shared and are spread throughout the world when the pilgrims return to their respective lands.
